What are mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes are an essential part of the ecosystem as a food source for many other insects and animals. However, they cause many problems worldwide due to the diseases they transmit, which you can read about below.

These pests are known for biting and consuming blood from mammals, but only female mosquitoes do so. Where will I find mosquitoes?

While mosquitoes are out from dusk to dawn, they have to hide during the day because they can become dehydrated quickly in direct sunlight. They will hide in shaded areas during the afternoon and also hang near stagnant water, where they breed.

How do I get rid of mosquitoes?
